Yes, we're back and happy to say that our little 'mom and pop' music initiative is right now, overloaded with music work - writing, recording, producing and performing ... projects all stemming from teaching and coaching activities over the past few years.

There's nothing like teaching by example and 2012 will reveal a number of excellent examples of our singer/songwriters successfully employing our musical methods and tactics to good effect.

Selim Kagee's debut classical crossover CD is due for release on the EMi record label in a few months time. Selim came to the CTSS looking to learn how to write songs, and true to our 'under promise and over deliver' philosophy we were able to assist him to where he now stands - on the brink of delivering his debut single and music video 'Cry For Love' to radio and TV.

We hope to very soon be revealing the name of a second student to be signed by a major record company.  We are at present refining the style and direction she is to take, through a series of demo recordings in our studio here at the CTSS.

Grant Ross recorded a seven track EP in our studios last year and also featured along with Fiona Record, on a techno-pop jingle we created for 'Spritzit' a new product/patent to be launched this year.

We have also been contracted to produce 20 songs every month for the retail music market ... there is clearly a demand for songs and original music.  Contact us if you would like to learn how to create music and songs for which there is a demand.

Due to studio pressure we have had to postpone our first course of the year which now kicks off on 5 March 2012. Demand for guitar lessons has resulted in us having to expand our guitar group classes to two nights a week.  These run Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Hope the year has started off well for you ... hope to see you soon!

Love ... clive and elaine
