CTSS graduate SELIM KAGEE signed a three album deal with EMI after being introduced to the record company through the school. Selim's debut CD is now available in all music stores.

The first single 'Cry For Love' written by Selim in conjunction with CTSS founder Clive Ridgway, is enjoying airplay on radio stations throughout the country. Selim's big break came after Clive got their song signed to EMI Music Publishing by Dave Penhale who in turn referred them to EMI MD Pino Benidetto.

'The album is a real accomplishment for Selim and the school,' says Clive. 'Selim is backed by the Cape Town POPS orchestra and some of SA's finest session players. Recordings took place at Lightway and Milestone Studios in Cape Town. String arrangements were written by John Walton and the project was recorded by Tony Drake and Murray Anderson.'
